Welcome to Joe
Murphy in: FRIGHTENING TIMES!
"Joe Murphy in: Frightening Times" (FT) is an old-fashioned adventure
game in the point-and-click tradition. It's played in a first person perspective,
which doesn't mean anything except that you don't see the game character
you are playing. It certainly got nothing to do with the kind of game play
known from 3D shooters.
In this SciFi-Horror-Comedy you play the part of dull small town boy
Joe Murphy who has to change his way of life drastically as aliens from
Outer Space invade the place where he lives - Dade's Town.
The goal of the game is to solve some puzzles like take the key to unlock
the door or throw the spear at the alien to kill it. By solving such puzzles
you will proceed in the game and could enjoy intelligent plot twists as
the story unfolds. Unfortunately there is no plot.
